The Roadmap at a Glance

The developers have signaled three categories of post-launch content:

  1. Free updates — ongoing patches and content additions.
  2. Multiplayer — a co-op or online mode (see the Multiplayer guide).
  3. Expansion — a paid or free expansion, not yet detailed.

No Confirmed Dates

The key caveat: none of this has a confirmed date. The roadmap is a set of intentions, not a schedule. Community reports describe these items as “planned, not dated.”

This is important if you’re deciding whether to buy — Iron Nest is a complete single-player experience today, and everything on the roadmap is bonus future content.

What We Actually Know

  • The game launched August 6, 2026 with a launch-week discount.
  • The base game is complete: 14 campaign missions, 20 ammo types, 4 endings, 33 achievements.
  • The developers are a two-person team, which usually means a slower update cadence.

How to Track Updates

  • Follow the Steam Store page for patch notes and announcements.
  • Watch the Steam Discussions for developer posts.
